JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Tasks

As an Automation Engineer, your tasks may include:

Programming and configuring PLC and SCADA systems.
Designing and commissioning control systems for production lines or process plants.
Working with HMI design to create user-friendly interfaces.
Integrating robotic applications, sensors, and drive systems.
Performing troubleshooting, optimization, and testing (FAT/SAT) of automated systems.
Collaborating with electrical designers and mechanical engineers to ensure that solutions meet specified requirements.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE WHO

Has a post-secondary education in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Has experience programming in systems such as Siemens (TIA Portal), Beckhoff, ABB, or Rockwell.
Has an understanding of industrial communication (Profinet, EtherCAT, Modbus, etc.).
Can read and interpret electrical schematics.
Is a natural problem solver who enjoys working both in development and in production/field.
Has good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

It is a plus if you have

Experience in robot programming (e.g., ABB, Fanuc, or KUKA).
Knowledge of vision systems or industrial IT/OT security.
Experience in virtual commissioning or simulation.
Knowledge of machine safety and applicable standards.
